On May 5, EMMIS attended the DEFEA Conference 2026, participating in one of the most important international conferences on defence, security, and technological innovation in Europe.
The conference brought together distinguished speakers and representatives of the international defence community, including Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus; Nikos Dendias, Minister of National Defence of Greece; Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis; Andrius Kubilius, former European Commissioner for Defence and Space until 2024; Radmila Shekerinska, who is joining NATO; Major General Ioannis Bouras, Director General of the Hellenic General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA); along with many other leading figures from the international defence sector.
EMMIS was represented by CEO Mr. Andreas Miserlis, while on the sidelines of the conference, important contacts and meetings were held with institutional, business, and industrial stakeholders across the sector.
Through substantive discussions and exchanges of views, we had the opportunity to follow the developments shaping the present and future of defence, remaining aligned with emerging requirements.
