EMMIS took part in the ELKAK Innovation Days, organised by the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (ELKAK) on 16 October 2026 at the N.J.V. Athens Plaza in Athens.
The ELKAK Innovation Days bring ELKAK and the Hellenic Armed Forces into direct contact with companies developing technologies with real defence applications. Together they discuss the problem each technology solves, where it stands today and what comes next.
The company's CEO, Mr Andreas Miserlis, presented EMMIS's solutions for naval and other defence applications to officials from ELKAK and the Armed Forces. The focus was on the NAV/TC naval transformers, which power critical systems on board warships: weapon systems, navigation and communication systems, emergency circuits and lighting. The presentation also covered the use of our solutions in self-propelled radar systems.
The presentation was accompanied by an EMMIS video. It was followed by a productive discussion with the panel, covering:
• the maturity of the technology, which is already at the highest level, and its potential for further development
• the company's R&D model, which combines an in-house R&D team with external partners
• the testing process
• the prospects for integrating our solutions into new, advanced defence applications
For EMMIS, taking part in the ELKAK Innovation Days is one more step in its strategy to contribute actively to the Greek defence innovation ecosystem, with Greek know-how, certified products and Greek manufacturing.
